Everything was exceptional — the property and service were flawless. Our host, Ms. Claudia, went above and beyond (she even asked what we would like for breakfast — something I had never experienced before). If you are travelling with family, consider bringing a small gift for her — her hospitality is so generous you’ll want to show your appreciation. Highly recommended.

Set just 23 km from Villa Panza, Casa vacanze Aria offers accommodation in Leggiuno with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. The place is spacious, clean, very well located and Marsela has been super helpful. I highly recommend it!

Offering city views, Borgo Paradiso Guest House is an accommodation located in Maccagno Inferiore, 30 km from Exhibition Center Lugano and 32 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. Wonderfully situated in the mountains with great walks straight from property. Good facilities and fantastic breakfast in an authentic car free Italian hamlet. There were 2 kitchens as well as the possibility to use washing machine!

Situated in Cannobio, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Villa Diomira features accommodation with a garden and private parking. A real heaven on earth - we loved every second there. Especially the breakfast and the view from up there is a 10/10.🥰 On the pictures, the rooms look a bit confining, but this is absolutely not the case (for reference, I am 1.87 meters tall). Also, check Google maps for more pictures! Barbara is an amazing host who gives everything to make you feel home. 😊 already looking forward to our next stay at Diomira.

Situated in Cannobio and only 17 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Suite Arianna features accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. Massimo, Arianna and family arw amazing. They coordinated and accomodated our need for an early checkin. Communication is exceptional. This is a lovely well situated apartment in the heart of Cannobio. We did self checkin from a received video, which helped guide us through the necessary steps upon arrival. They greeted us before we departed from our short stay and their sincere warmth made us wish we could stay a bit longer and share a bit of time with them. The apartment is impeccably clean, thoughtfully/masterfully laid out and supplied with all you require in a beautiful compact space with solid fixtures and just super well appointed. We used the refrigerator to store some cheese we were transporting. There were two sparkling waters in the refrigerator provided gratis, which hit the spot upon arrival. There was coffee capsules for espresso, as well as a variety of teas. The place is compact, yet feels spacious. I could imagine staying here on business or on leisure. The hosts recommended some places to eat and we felt if we had the need that they were always there for us. Understated, yet classic Italian warmth and hospitality. Modern ammenities in a historic Cannobio building with a shared and gated/enclosed courtyard area for those that want to take in the nearby outdoors in nice weather. Highly recommended for so very many reasons! Book with confidence and stay in beautiful Cannobio longer than we did. Among the very best in its class! Enjoy!!!

Set in Arona, 25 km from Borromean Islands, Affittacamere La Quiete offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The apartment was lovely, well (and seemed newly) equipped and very clean, we liked the balcony. Tatiana, the host, and her husband were kind and helpful. Can't recommend this place enough.

Located in Arona and with Borromean Islands reachable within 25 km, Cavaedium Guest House provides express check-in and check-out, soundproof rooms, a private beach area, free WiFi and water sports... In a perfect location in Arona this is a fully renovated guest house, exceptional facilities, everything is carefully thought out. The hostess Debora is a very kind and helpful. The breakfast was great and Debora adapted it our requests. Debora also suggested some great restaurants to dine in.

Rivalago B&B is set on the seafront in Cannobio, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and 18 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a lift. The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Featuring garden views, HARTMANN FEEL AT HOME B&B Villa Gignese in Gignese offers accommodation, a garden and a shared lounge. Wonderful B&B with a stunning view and garden. We loved the kind people that welcomed us! We loved our 4 person room, perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. the beds are very comfortable and the room is well decorated. The kids loved the trampoline and the garden. We surely will return if we are close to Lago Maggiore.
