Hostitelé byli moc milí a ochotní. Slečna mluvila hezky anglicky a byla opravdu příjemná, nic nebyl problém. Po check-outu nám dovolili nechat si batohy, abychom si mohli ještě projít město, což jsme hodně ocenili. Komunikace přes WhatsApp byla rychlá a bez problémů. Pán nám dal doporučení k půjčení kola. Rozhodně doporučujeme!

Čisté pokoje a vybavení. Moskytiéra bez děr. Skvělý hostitel, rychle odpovídal na zprávy a se spoustou věcí nám pomohl, děkujeme. Zařídil nám kola, nádobí na ovoce, jeep a safari, taxi do další destinace... Tiché prostředí poblíž centra města, památek a jezera (zajděte se podívat na západ slunce, je tam nádherně) Ubytování je dobře postavené, dovnitř neproniká hmyz.

Lake Cabin se nachází v destinaci Polonnaruwa a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na jezero. Jen 2,5 km odtud je Gal Viharaya. I loved this cabin: it's cozy and clean and has a wonderful veranda overlooking the lake. The owner is very helpful and serves a great dinner and breakfast

Ruins Villa poskytuje zahradu, terasu a pokojovou službu. Gal Viharaya je 400 metrů odtud. V ubytování je dostupné bezplatné Wi-Fi a na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. Naprosto všechno 🤩🤩🤩. Neřeším horko, protože to je všude a neřeším komáry, protože ti jsou taky všude 😂. Postel má síť, takže SUPER a ventilátor mi stačí. Pan Upali je úžasný, milý, vstřícný a poctivý člověk a jeho paní fantasticky vaří 😍.... navíc poradí se vším. Byl jsem naprosto a se vším spokojený.... tisíc hvězdiček ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our stay at Sunrise Lake Resort in Polonnaruwa was truly unforgettable. The location is absolutely beautiful, right by the peaceful lake with stunning sunrise and sunset views. It’s surrounded by nature, and we were lucky enough to see elephants and many birds right from the garden! The cabanas are new, clean, and very comfortable, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, perfect for anyone looking to unwind. The staff is incredibly kind, friendly and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. They helped us arrange a wonderful lake safari and served delicious homemade meals made with fresh local ingredients. The breakfast was simple but full of flavor, and every meal felt special. The location is convenient, just a short ride to the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa and other attractions. Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations. We left with great memories and would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Polonnaruwa! 🌅🐘✨

I can't recommend Villa Ravichini Homestay enough! The place is fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom nice with good water pressure, and the breakfast was delicious. But what truly sets this homestay apart is Ravi. He's the heart and soul of the place — so patient, kind, and helpful. Despite the heavy rain on my arrival, he suggested a safari to the Eco Park nearby, where we saw many elephants and plenty of birds. Shiran, our driver, was great too — knowledgeable and respectful of animals and of nature! Ravi also made amazing tea, rented me a bike, and even took me to the Shivaratri Festival at the ancient temples. If you're in Polonnaruwa, stay at Villa Ravichini.

Nice air-conditioned apartments in a beautiful shady garden. The apartments are located close to the sights, the lake and shops, but far enough from the busy main street. The host was very attentive and willing to help us with anything and completely arranged a safari for us, including transportation. He also lent us bikes, which we used to ride around the lake one day and the next day to ride through the historical ruins. We spent 3 nights in the villa and it was a wonderful experience that we highly recommend to everyone.
