This place was a true haven in the most amazing location - close to the tourist hub, but in a calm and quiet place where you can't hear any of the noise. We could sit out in our balcony/bathroom area and watch sunbirds flying about in the flowers and peer down into the laneways behind. Our room was beautifully decorated with amazing vintage movie posters. Our host Winnie was kind, generous and responsive to messages. We loved entering the building through the plants, walking through the gorgeous cafe and up the stairs to our room. A perfect little romantic getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here and hope to come back.

The room is very clean and homely decorated. The owner is kind and helpful. She allowed me to check in before the regular check in hour. There are grocery store, restaurants, fruit stand, and laundry facility (using coin) within 10 minutes walking. There is a small communal kitchen on the first floor equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, water filter, and some utensils. That is very convenient.

Had a great stay at Pillowhouzzze. Maria and her husband are great hosts, giving me good recommendations for food and things to do in Melaka but also in Malaysia. The room was clean and neat, very much enjoyed my 2 nights sleep at this homestay :)

It's all been provided by the host himself. Masyallah. The host, Mr. Luqman, is extremely welcoming and gracious. He waited patiently for our arrival after the allotted hour. Communication with the host is a breeze. I'm glad we took up this offer. 😌 I'm thrilled with it. Will return here without a doubt. We are grateful to Mr Luqman for helping us over our entire stay. I like that it is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood with a nearby commercial centre. Rooms and space are big enough to fit one big family at the given price. Not to mention wifi and smart TV are welcoming bonuses. Host is also very helpful and responsive on Whatsapp.
