I live in Almere city, didn't even know this part of town existed, and it was shocking (in a good way) to find peace, quiet, woods, birdsong in "my town." I rested wonderfully. Also, the breakfasts!!! I told Anja she should have an Instagram accounts just to show those off, delicious food made into art. We're in the middle of a bathroom renovation and after the noise, the dirt, the constant privacy invasion – we basically live in the living room while multiple people bang up and down the stairs – this mini-break was heaven. All my stress came off. Comfort, healing, recovery – I sound all new-age, but that was what I needed and I got it. On the first nights the sky was cloudy – only when we were departing the sky cleared, and, as I expected, I saw ALL the stars, there is no light pollution. The biggest "complaint" I can come up with is that I had to push hard at the door to open it and I wasn't aware the kitchenette was shared (not that I saw anyone else in it). So, only 9.99 instead of 10 ;) Can't wait to go back, honestly, wish I could have stayed for weeks.
