This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in- incredibly unique, which is thanks to the brilliant design and skill of the wonderful and kind German owner Martin. He couldn't have been more helpful or nice to us. We also had the opportunity to stay in the tower room which was unforgettable. He is such a talented guy to create this. Amazing value given what he has built.

The room was beautiful and had a large terrace overlooking the sea. The staff were extremely sweet and helpful. Same day laundry service, if required. Spent three relaxing nights here.

I stayed in a little, round dome (hut) and I loved it so much I extended for one more night! Lake views, alpacas in the garden, good brekkie and super nice staff! What else can you wish for? Maybe a heater haha, but that's pretty standard in Bolivia. The dome was still pretty warm, all things considered and there was hot water in the shower. The bed and pillows were comfortable and you get a few heavy blankets to sleep under. It's very quiet at night. 15 min walk to town or a $1-2 taxi Free drinking water

I love my stay here wish I had been on Isla del sol an extra night so I could have stayed longer, it was spotlessly clean, comfy, nice family, good breakfast... The location is also so nice great views and close to nice resturants the only thing to note is it's a good 30 minutes walking up hill from the port at 3800m altitude so make sure you're prepared for that

Great room with beautiful view over the port and the town. Location is perfect when arriving with luggage, it is only a few steps up the hill from the port - most accommodations are a 30 minute steep uphill hike away. The downside is that the sun sets a bit earlier behind a mountain - but nothing stops you from hiking up after having dropped your luggage. Breakfast was amazing and freshly prepared. A terrace outside invites to relax in the sun. The staff was lovely and very helpful!

The shower was hot, bed was extremely comfortable and it had many blankets to keep you warm, as well as a electric heater in the room if you needed. (it gets cold here at night) the location right at the port means you don’t have to carry your bags up the massive hills, but you still get great views of the lake an mountains. Breakfast was delicious and the owner even ferried us up to the north side of the island so we could hike back one way.
