We stayed here to break up our drive to Myvatn. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the apartment/room. The pictures made it appear much smaller. The kitchen facilities were great (we cooked a meal), the washer was an added plus and the pullout sofa was surprisingly comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to stay!

The property was easy to find, and is very well located for day trips around Egilsstaðir. The house was clean, cozy and nicely decorated. There was a washing machine as well, which was very handy. The beds were comfortable. The area was very quiet, a bit outside of Egilsstaðir, but very quick to drive there. From the open area where the cottages are, there is a short path to a jacuzzi (which was spotless) and there is also a sauna. We had a very enjoyable stay.

What a beautiful area - slightly off the city centre but surrounded by woods and forest trails. There is a wonderful walking trail right around the property. Gorgeous garden to sit and relax in the evening. And Hallormsstaður forest is 20 mins close. Hengifoss, studlagil are all nearby. Friendly staff. (We could get the most of the property because we were lucky with great weather)

This was really nice house to stay in. The kitchen was really well equipped. We had a good parking spot right in front of the house. Nice quiet area in the living parts of the town. We came to enjoy the Vök baths (really great place) and ended up in an extreme snowstorm. We got an experience of a lifetime in the canyons near the town.
