Gorgeous unit and tastefully designed. A lot of people have pointed out that it offers little privacy due to the many glass panels and windows but we didn't find it a problem as there were ample blinds in all the rooms and shared spaces. The fact that each room had its own bathroom was a huge plus point. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed to cook a simple breakfast. Location was fantastic too. Easily the nicest place we stayed at during our trip around the South Island.

Host was really friendly and gave us recommendations on things to do in Tekapo. They also warned us of the weather conditions before we drove out to Mount cook, which was really sweet of them. Best part of the place is that it is spotless and clean. Cozy little place that we called home for 3 nights.

Upon arrival, the host welcomed us warmly, providing us with some helpful information. There are a living room, a kitchen and two bedrooms. All are stylish, neat, and pretty spacious for us, parents with a teenager. The Cowans Hill is just behind the house. We had a short walk and enjoyed the view during sunset and sunrise over there. The room rate we got was very competitive compared with other rooms in this area. It's not only the most cost effective but also the most comfortable room we stayed in our 9-day New Zealand trip.
