The guest house is centrally located just a 9 minute walk from the Hotel Rozafa where the domestic and international buses leave and arrive from. Renato who owns the place is a fantastic manager and was very polite, speaks excellent English and knows everything about the town. He responds very promptly when messaging or calling during daytime hours. The free breakfast is delicious and filling and Renato cooks it once he has settled you in with a tea or coffee. The room is clean, has heating and hot water that does not run out fast in the winter. There is a beautiful garden where you can relax or smoke. The cat is so nice too!

Rovena is so kind and helpful and sweet. This place is an amazing location right near the city center. They have free parking in a locked area. Whether you have a car or not it’s a perfect spot. There is tons of space, everything is super clean, full kitchen with all that you need even salt and pepper and oil. Extra blankets and towels if you need. There is a washer and a drying rack. A beautiful deck. Close to supermarkets etc. I think it was the best place I stayed in Albania, and I stayed a lot of places.

We really enjoyed staying outside the “busy” village. No music, no late nights, just hikers the sound of the fountain and a great view from above. It was very clean. The local breakfast keeps you going for a while. Dinner was good, too. Suela is a lovely host, always trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible. For those attempting to drive up to the accommodation - make sure you’ve got a 4 wheel drive (it’s not possible otherwise since there is just the gravel hiking path with some deeper potholes to drive on). We just left our car at a small private parking lot belonging to the cafe before heading up the mountain for 3€ per day.

The family and their 3 daughters are amazing, friendly, and super welcoming. Best place we stayed in Albania
