Situated in the Roatan Region, 46 km from Utila, Puerta Azul is a beachfront property just a short swim away from the MesoAmerican Reef. Certain rooms include a seating area where you can relax. The owners and staff were excellent - courteous, very friendly, and helpful. The staff happily contacted establishments we were interested in to confirm that they were open and what their hours were. The arranged needed taxis. The property was beautifully landscaped. The cabins were well designed and beautifully furnished. Each cabin had an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off. The beach was groomed each morning. There was a long dock that you could swim off of.

Set in West Bay, 1.5 km from West Bay Beach, The Meridian at Lighthouse Point has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. Beautiful property. Our unit was a 1 bedroom with a large deck overlooking the pool. The on suite bathroom was the size of a bedroom. A bit of a walk to West Bay but we found a shortcut to help eliminate some of the hill. The beach is very private, but swimming out to the reef for snorkelling is difficult as the water gets rough and the there is not much clearance from the reef. We just stayed closer to shore.

(We had earplugs (as you are on the mainroad) and could sleep well!) We could ask anything to host Luis, always there to help, even for a little ride! Luis was super friendly and very knowledgeble!
