Very very beautiful house, with many details, great terrace, garden and roof top. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with everything you need. We were alone in the house because there were no tourists that night and the very kind Walleed (staff) offered us to use the whole house for us. He even brought us some excellent sandwiches for dinner! Special mention also to the breakfast, the best I had during my trip in Jordan, local food homemade by the people of the village, very well.cooked by the woman at the hotel, it was just delicious.... It is well worth staying at this hotel, different from others in Jordan, a great experience!

His B&B is in a fantastic location - only a two minute drive or 10 minute walk to the archeological site. I would highly recommend staying with him in Um Qais!

We had the privilege the stay in this lovely guest house - perfectly located in a tranquil area, within walking distance from the Gadara sight. It is a well-equiped, nicely decorated, charming small house with a beautiful garden overlooking the village and the hills around. The breakfast was also delicious. But no experience in Umm Qais is complete without Ahmad's highly professional guidance - he is well-known to be the best guide in the area, and there is a reason for his reputation. In a very reasonable arrangement, we have not only managed to learn the formal history of the area but also gained insights from someone who actually used to live in the site and later also participated in the preservation efforts. Our stay and the short morning tour with Ahmad in the site was truly a highlight of our entire trip in Jordan.

Beautiful, peaceful paradise of a guesthouse - we wish we could have stayed for much longer. We were warmly welcomed by the caretakers of the property (and they were very patient when we realized we'd arrive much later than we'd planned). The views are incredible and sunset is just magical. The downstairs unit (basically a full, small apartment) was ideal––a nice-sized kitchen, living room, small terrace, good and comfortable bed + bedroom––and everything very clean and proper. The breakfast was DELICIOUS - and plentiful! We'd have loved to stay reading and doing art in the upstairs living room all day. The house also has lovely history and is a wonderful tribute to the artist/architect/founder. Highly recommend!

Abdula is an excellent host and on hand for anything you may need or to answer questions. His breakfast was simply amazing and brought to the door. The bed was comfy the living area and outdoors was ideal the garden was a relaxing and beautiful place to watch the sunset. I wish now we had booked another night as there is so much to do in the area. I would stay there again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We had the house to ourselves, clean and quiet. Two BR on main floor and two full BA. One BA on main floor and one a few steps down. Individual air-heat units kept the house comfortable (it was hot in Oct when we were there). Washing machine in kitchen. The house was being updated and did not effect our stay, but will possibly make it even nicer for future stays.
