Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). I thought this would be just a nice sleepover place and nothing more but it is so beautiful and has a very unique traditional feel that it made our stay on the island so much better. You even get free breakfast/dinner if you don't have time to eat outside and depart early in the morning/ don't manage to fetch a table in a reataurant in the evening because there is limited amount of restaurants that are open in late evening or early morning. The whole house is very authentic and the family that runs the place also offers a little souvenir shop with super cheap prices of local souvenirs, some even locally handmade. Thr staff is super nice and the xommom areas welcoming to spend the evenings in game/living room. Also had beautiful garden and amazing views from the rooms right on the sea

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. Nice dinner & breakfast. Room is clean & spacious.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Excellent service - staff came to pick us up from the ferry station, and they were very polite and welcoming. Location was great near the shrine and we were able to see it from our room. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and they were able to accomodate our group which had multiple dietary restrictions around meat. Reserving the private bath was simple and it was very relaxing.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Very kind and welcoming staff. The location was beautiful and it’s very close to the walking path to Miyajima Ropeway. Upon arrival, they gave us a list of restaurants open late at night, which was very helpful! I only stayed one night but wished I stayed for two!

Stopped off here halfway through the Shimanami Kaido. Reo was such a good host and Tora is such a good cat. We chatted for ages and exchanged gifts. The room was an authentic Japanese experience.

Everything was great. The location is so nice. Supermarket around. Right next to the forest. Very peaceful and the owner is great. Amazing place to have nice socializing evening as well.

A very stylish house with a great view of the sea. We loved the interior, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, even though we didn't need it as we were only staying one night.Wish we could have stayed longer in this beautiful and peaceful place

Yorozuya-san and wife were our perfect host. His love for Conan was shown throughout the place. Sharing his collection was our main highlight. He help us to bring our luggage to Station near our train time. He drive us to school to see Conan and Ran goes to school statue, which is quite far if you walk. His house was located in front of Ran Statue. He also told us several secrets. I have been here in Conan town several times, and i could say, i usually skipped both statues due to their distances were far from other statues. So I really feel complete on this trip.
