Perched above Sri Lanka’s highest village, the views stretch endlessly over rolling farmland, where highland vegetables grow in neat rows, and behind the cabin lies a dense forest, home to local wildlife. Watching the landscape change with the light was magical. The cabin itself is a dream—spacious, spotless, beautifully designed, and instantly inviting. You arrive, take a deep breath, and feel at home. Everything is well-maintained, and you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into every detail. What really stood out was the hospitality. Not only were we looked after with great care, but even our guide/driver was well accommodated. The owner was always there with a smile, ready to help, even suggesting a beautiful hiking route and making sure we were set up for a great walk. A personal highlight: my partner’s birthday fell during our stay, and to our surprise, she was gifted a beautiful birthday cake—a gesture that truly made the day extra special. We also dined at the cabin, and it was one of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka. The owner and his wife clearly have a passion for good food, and it was a pleasure to taste it. Communication was seamless from the start, with quick and easy WhatsApp contact, making everything effortless. Cabin 7000ft is more than just a stay—it’s a special place that lingers in your memory long after you leave. Highly, highly recommended!

He took great care of me. He was very patient with me despite my horrible level of English. He bought me my train ticket to Ella in advance. He has the cleanest house I have visited in Sri Lanka. The property has garden views. The guest house features family rooms. Our host and family were all wonderful. Fresh cooked breakfast and dinner in their home. Nothing was too much trouble. We were taken in their tuk tuk to various places.local knowledge about the area was very useful. Would highly recommend. The villa was clean with a view of tea plantation.

We spent evening discussing with the host about Sri Lanka, our country, and lots of other things. Loved every minute of it- and that evening ended with a live concert from the super talented host. Went above and beyond. Also breakfast was delicious- banana pancakes eith looots of fresh fruit!

We booked very short notice as we changed plans and upon our arrival everything was already arranged. We got tea and cakes for welcome and we even got the better room because they had a last minute cancellation and so it was free anyway. So we got a very nice view upon Nuwara Eliad as the hotel is located on a little hill. The whole place looks quiete new and pretty and they have a wonderful garden. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom big and clean. The breakfast was also very good and we could choose from different options. We unfortunately just stayed one night but we would definitiv come again. We could pay by card.
