Very modern and clean with all the amenities. They had condiments and spices and a beautiful kitchen. The outside was comfortable and the grill worked well. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms were great.

Private door to enter. Very clean. Our room was serviced each day and all of the breakfast items were left for us in the kitchen area. There were plenty of pots and pans to be able to use to cook, which we did. Short drive into Te Anau, and a nice base camp from which to drive to Milford Sound.

What a fun location - close enough to ‘town’ to walk as in, to the only Pub and Shop (and amazing book store!), but far enough to be dark and quiet. Wow the stargazing opportunities! Jo offered us fresh eggs and apples from her farm and gave other useful advice. Beds clean and comfortable. We appreciated the laundry as we really needed it. Enjoyed some drinks on the porch at sunset, and coffee / breakfast. Cute ponies out the back!

We got lucky that the sky was very clear the night we stayed and we got to stargaze.

What a find, the house had been moved 220km to this amazing plot. It was previously a nunnery and all those features had been retained, so the wood and feel of the property was extremely relaxing. The grounds included a railway carriage you could stay in, a wooden boat, carousel, a little lake with a fountain, swings, rocking seats, huge bee structure, the most amazing glass summerhouse with table tennis facilities and outside seating. Kym was the most amazing host, nothing was too much. She arranged our Milford Sound trip on Cruise Milford and recommended the time we should leave and stop off points on route. What I have not mentioned is that the lounge as free beer,wine, tea,coffee and cookies. What more could you want. Breakfast included everything you could want from continental to cooked, selection of juices and tea and coffee. One night we decided to stay in and Kym let us use the kitchen to cook dinner for ourselves and one other guest that we met. Felt very sad to leave and would differently recommend and go back if we can.
