Given the location, the accommodation offered a very comfortable stay. Nights can be cold, but the extra blankets made it cozy. We experienced a minor bathroom issue, yet the hosts were responsive and solved it right away. We appreciated the tour organized through Manuel, and the meals were enjoyable: breakfast was excellent while dinner was simple and fairly priced.

Our hosts Mario and Julia were so kind and welcoming and really made us feel at home. The food was delicious and the view of the lake was breathtaking and the island had many beautiful paths to hike. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay on Taquile Island.

I instantly felt so welcome- José Luis helped me to organise my transport and picked me up from the boat too. I had delicious meals made by Pilar, and it was so special to eat and talk altogether with other guests. The island and this home is extremely peaceful and beautiful. I am so grateful that I was able to stay here and with such a kind family.

This place is so beautiful. Definitely worth staying here for few days. The family is so lovely, kind and helpful. They also organized a trip to Taquile island and Uros Titino island for me, with small private boat for very reasonable price. Breakfast is included in price, they also offer lunch and dinner (20 soles per meal at the time of visit). Sometimes they skip the lunch due to a lot of work they have. Jesus (son of Valentin) also explained what is possible to do there, because there are nice places to walk around Llachon peninsula. You can also rent a kayak. Rooms are spacious and clean, with hot water, internet is working quite good. Be aware that it can get pretty cold there, especially during the night. But they have very thick duvets and extra thick blankets.

From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.
