Superb family-run accommodation, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, the homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and the location was stunning right in front of the river and mountains. Definitely will repeat if I go back to Slovenia!

The food was outstanding—everything made with fresh, seasonal ingredients straight from the farm. You can taste the care and tradition in every bite. The hospitality was warm and genuine, making the entire experience feel both authentic and unforgettable. It’s the best of Slovenia on a plate and in the air—pure, simple, and beautiful. A must on any visit to the country. We’re already hoping to return for a longer stay!

Best pension in all of the Logarska Dolina! Firstly I have to say that Barbara was an incredible host, she helped us a lot and really made us feel at home. The room was very clean and quaint, it had everything we needed from comfortable beds to a really good bathroom. It was also quite spacious thus we had plenty of space to put our stuff. The facilities are really nice. They got a huge terrace and garden with an amazing view over the valley. The pension is located right in the center of the valley. Thus a perfect base for hiking and climbing the surrounding mountains. They also got a campfire spot outside but they only turn it on during the weekends or with special events. The food here is amazing. We had dinner both nights that we were here and everything was delicious! The ingredients are all locally sourced and they offer many traditional dishes (but also plenty of comfort food). The breakfast was also very good and especially varied, plenty of options. To conclude, we had an amazing stay at Hisa Ojstrica and I am sure that when I return to the logar valley, I will come back to this pension!

Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold presenta un giardino, una sala comune, una terrazza e un ristorante a Solčava. La struttura in cui abbiamo alloggiato era davvero graziosa e possiamo confermare che le foto pubblicate sono assolutamente veritiere! Siamo rimasti colpiti dalla sincera ospitalità dei padroni di casa, persone molto aperte al dialogo e molto premurose. La colazione che ci hanno servito era a dire poco deliziosa, con prodotti fatti in casa, dolci e salati. E' un peccato che nei giorni in cui abbiamo soggiornato avesse nevicato tanto, così non abbiamo potuto vedere la parte esterna e gli animali sul retro... ma sicuramente ci torneremo!

Our hosts, Tomaz and Spela, were wonderful, very hospitable, accommodating about meal times, and informative about hikes in the area. Our chef, Erik, created amazingly delicious and beautifully presented dishes, from soups to main dishes to desserts, for our big group of 10 (a family reunion). The farm house we staying in was very clean and pleasant with beautiful mountain and vegetation views.

Mala hiša si trova a Solčava e mette a disposizione alloggi dotati di area salotto. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. Stunning location! Close enough to town that we could have resources for activities (bicycle rentals), but still felt like a quiet retreat to disconnect from our phones and enjoy the beauty.

Apartments Savinja si trova a Luče, nella regione Savinjska, a 45 km da Fontana di Birra (Green Gold Fountain). The owner went out of their way to satisfy a special need us. She spent half a day in her effort.

Perfect location to explore Logar Valley. Breakfast - all home made drinks, jams, traditional cured meats. Very generous and reasonably priced. Valentina is the best hostess. So welcoming, warm and accommodating. I even had my haircut and blow dry by her, which felt amazing after long hikes. We had dinner at the restaurant next door and food was so good, fresh local ingredients. Would definitely come back to this place.

Na Logu - Farm Stay Ambrož Gregorc si trova a Solčava e mette a disposizione WiFi gratuito, terrazza, ristorante e bar. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. All'arrivo la camera era pulita, in ordine e funzionale. Presenza del phon per capelli e doccia ampia. Terrazzino con sedie e tavolino. Parte esterna pulita e curata con un bel panorama. Situato a pochi minuti di auto da Solčava e Luce. Gestori gentili. Colazione varia e di buona qualità che valeva i 10 euro in più a persona.
