The rooms are spotless, with tasteful decor and thoughtful touches throughout. Everything is maintained to the highest standard, reflecting a clear passion for hospitality. Villa Kounzo also helps you make the most of your time—they recommend great daytime activities and are happy to order excellent takeaway meals from nearby restaurants if you're staying in for the evening. The on-site bar is another highlight, offering cold, reasonably priced drinks including soft drinks, beer, and wine—a perfect way to wind down after a day of exploring. Villa Kounzo is far more than just a place to stay—it’s a haven of comfort, great food, and genuine hospitality where you feel like home. I left feeling completely recharged and already planning my return. Highly recommended!

This is thanks to Celine and Gilles, who created a beautiful place, gather their guests around the dinner table for warm and mind-opening conversations and inventive, delicious, fine home-cooked meals, who share incredible experiences of local life through their guided tours, while being highly responsible for the well-being of local community and nature, and, last, but not least - leaving guests, who don't speak French feeling comfortable.
