When I first arrived into the room I was gobsmacked at how gorgeous it was. Huge windows next to bed, a cute little balcony area too with stretching views of the ocean, the mountains and the village. Sunset was particularly gorgeous, highly recommend sitting on balcony or bed and watching the sly change colour as the sun goes down. The clouds were insanely beautiful! Room itself was very nice layout, loved having the bed next to the window and the TV worked well. Bathroom was clean and cozy. Location wasn't as hard to find as I was expecting, just got a taxi to drop me off on the main road behind, near the temple. Walked down a small road past an empty basketball court, kept going down following the signs. Its about a 5 min walk. Perfect location to enjoy Jiufen old street!

Located in Jiufen, 34 km from Taipei, Sunshine B&B features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. Hosts were very friendly, always wanting to help. We stayed 3 nights and they made suggestions of what we could do in the area and at the night market. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of fruit. We kept our bicycles on the main floor.

Boasting a terrace with overlooking sea views, 九份龍門客棧 l 近老街 is ideally located only a 1-minute walk from Jiufen Old Street and 10-minute walk from Keelung Long Distance Bus Stop. Beautiful views, from the room and especially the breakfast area on the third floor. kind and helpful staff, sparkling clean rooms, a little light on sound insulation but other guests were quiet so this wasn't a problem (and we expected it based on the building's location, age, and charm)

We love everything about Jiufen Cafe Sleep. The host was very helpful, the accomodation was unique, clean and well equiped. The breakfast was delicious. The location is superb!

The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.
