From local recommendations to helpful tips, they were fantastic. Many great restaurants accessible by walking and there is a Boda Boda stage close by if you need to take a bike. The home was beautiful, cozy, and clean with reliable WiFi. I also enjoyed the fitness gym 3mins walk from the apartment. We felt genuinely peaceful, cared for and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a thoughtful host.

We absolutely loved our stay at Home on the Nile. We stayed for four nights. The view from the balcony is just amazing. The owner, David, was very friendly and helpful. He gave us plenty of useful recommendations for things to do in Jinja. The staff were all incredible. Hope provided us with fantastic service every morning. She even learned off our breakfast orders. The food was incredible too. Some of the best food we had in Uganda. Jessica made us lovely cocktails every night too. Great service all round. Also really appreciated the French press coffee in the room.
