Everything is made very comfortable and beautiful, for an affordable price. The common areas were beautifully made, clean, really nice spaces to spend some time. Nice view out to the lake. Interesting and calm area around the property, Source of the Nile in walking distance, just like the city center. The place has a bar, where we got breakfast and had nice cocktails in the evening. We especially thank David for his kindness and generousity! We definitely recommend Home on the Nile!

This was by far one of the best places I stayed in my 2 month East Africa trip. The owner guy from Zimbabwe does an excellent job with his team (except he never got back to me with his contact for the gorilla trekking in Congo, which in any case we couldn't do since they closed the park/border in Congo right before we were going to head there), but again I would like to give it to the kindness and politeness of the Ugandan people (the staff) that makes the difference for me. The food, drinks, the cleanliness of the room and the hotel grounds altogether way beyond African standards for the price they are charging. I wanted to stay longer but couldn't convince my travel partner who wanted to carry on with the itinerary sooner otherwise wonderful place to unwind, enjoy Jinja and its surroundings. Big plus: simply fantastic breakfast, the best we had in whole Africa (except if you are staying more than one night it is the same everyday and can be repetitive...)

This Airbnb was spotlessly clean and freshly smells, quiet, and perfectly located. Everything,supermarkets, banks, and essentials , it was within walking distance, so I didn’t need to spend on transport. The beautiful interior made it feel cozy, and the mosquito net ensured a comfortable sleep. Plus, the staff was super helpful. Highly recommend!

Home On The Nile Water front Cottage er gististaður með garði og bar í Jinja, 1,1 km frá Jinja-golfvellinum, 6,5 km frá Jinja-lestarstöðinni og 10 km frá Source of the Nile - Speke-minnisvarðanum. Let's start with the location. It is not so far away from the town. If you're up for a 30-minute walk or less, this is doable. When you get in to compound there's a sense of relaxation and warmth. The views are stunning, the rooms feel homey, and the decor is light, portraying comfort. The staff are polite and helpful. I did not experience any issues here. The restaurant, too, was awesome with a good view of the river. The food was delicious and fresh and pocket friendly. Overall, I'd go back here any day just to chill away from hectic day to day.
