Irene was a great host, helpful and chatty. Irene helped us arrange a brilliant game drive to Chobe National Park even though we were on a tight schedule

Situated on the banks of the lower Chobe River in the Kasane region, River View Lodge offers rooms and chalet accommodation with river and garden views as well as an outdoor pool. All of the hotel staff are outstanding and made our trip the best it possibly could be. They all go above and beyond. Special mention to Mossie who is a star. they offer a free lunch which is great!

My friend and I booked our stay at this beautiful guesthouse at first strictly based on the unique name. Turns out this was the best place ever! From the moment we arrived to our last night, we felt at home. Our gracious hostess, Lumba, made us feel at home. The room was very clean, bathroom clean (a little tiny) but comfy. Breakfast was delicious with your typical English breakfast, coffee and juice offered. Our hostess assisted with excursion bookings, helping us the get the best prices. So our last night we invited her to join us for a little brai (grilling) for dinner. We ate and talked as if we were old friends from years before. Highly recommended this guesthouse!!! Location, price point, safety, customer service all 5 stars!!!

To visit Chobe National Park, we decided to stay a bit outside of Kazane, closer to nature, and chose Destiny Blo Inn. This turned out to be not just a good decision, it was a true jackpot. Chimney made our stay absolutely unforgettable. Travel is not only about nature, but also about people, and it’s the people who connect us to the local culture. Chimney not only shared insights about life in Botswana, but also organized the best game drive we’ve ever experienced: a 12-hour journey through Chobe with a breakfast and lunch break, all arranged by him. We had the time not just to see the animals, but to truly observe their lives in peace. Honestly, this experience even surpassed our impressions of Victoria Falls the day before. While the facilities may seem modest to some, the dedication and heart Chimney puts into his hosting are the real highlights—and they added incredible value to our journey.

Lorato Camping se nachází v destinaci Chobe a nabízí vybavení pro grilování. Národní park Ngoma Gate Chobe je 6,8 km daleko. Very chill, off-grid place. Really close to Chobe park and the Ngoma border. Green, lovely yard right on the Chobe river front. Really quiet, so you could hear all the animals at night.

This was an amazing stay. A true "hidden" gem. The owners, Martin and Meegan, as well as super-efficient "TT", is very helpful and knowledgeable to share any advice.

The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. The camping tent was lovely and in a great setting. A very peaceful place. Highly recommend. Nice little store to get some good grocery items

Muchenje Campsite and Cottages se nachází 60 km od města Kasane, v blízkosti brány Ngoma v národním parku Chobe. Perfect location for visiting Chobe through the Ngama gate, which is much quieter than the Kasane side. The grounds are lovely and everything is well spaced for privacy. The cottage was spacious, clean and well appointed. The owner, Hayden, is super knowledgeable about travel, wildlife, etc. In the area and very generous with his time helping his customers plan visits to the park or onward travel.
