Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel is located in Basel, 200 metres from Kunstmuseum Basel. Great location, friendly staff, awesome breakfast. I also loved that the hotel gave us a card that we could use for free local transport. The breakfast was wonderful with many options - eggs, various meats and local cheeses, salad ingredients with their homemade dressing, local baked goods and a waffle station. We really enjoyed our stay! There’s even a sauna you can reserve.

Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. It has a wonderful location, with friendly staff, they make you feel special from the first entrance. you say I'm glad I came. The hotel, which is already good so far, offers a free roaming pass, a discounted pass to many places and a map of the city without you having to ask. All this is marvellous.

The apartment was amazing, spacious, cozy and had everything you might need! The location is also perfect, and even though it’s next to the main train station, not loud at all!

The location of the property helps you to get so easily to the city center and also to SBB train station. There is a very big supermarket nearby(2 min walking), 2 min walking to the tram station. Having the coffee on the balcony watching Rhein was amazing. The apartament is fully equipped with everything you need: coffee machine, stove, fridge. The host is very friendly and kind. He even accepted us earlier than the check in hour and later than the check out(there was no booking prior and before us). He is also helping us with Baselcards which are amazing as you can travel free within the city using the tram, buses including the way from and to airport.

Beautiful spacious apartment in the centre of basel. Close to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Also very close to some of the main view points and attractions. Apartment was a good size for a couple would likely be a bit of a squish for 4 people however. Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom was a good size with a lovely shower. Bed was reasonably comfortable although very firm. All things you could need such as iron, airer, TV, cleaning products etc. Check in was easy, collection of keys from a key box outside the apartment and a spare set of keys on the inside.

I was met by Kai, who took me to my room, and explained everything, including with a lever-arch file of notes. He checked that I had everything I needed, and then left. I didn't need to contact him, but I had all his contact details in case I did. It's a large enough room with beds, a table and a well-enough equipped kitchen, and a fan in case it gets a bit hot. There is enough hanging space in the cupboard. The bathroom is shared with another room (I knew that at the time of booking), and that might not suit everybody, but it was perfectly fine with me. The location is great: about 2-3 blocks from a tram intersection for the Number 1 tram that goes to the main station and to the Messe Convention centre. Other trams are also there, but I did not use them. There are also two largish grocery stores in the vicinity of the tram station.
