Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. Delicious breakfast for a fair price, with a very nice view to the internal garden.The room wasn't the biggest room but it had enough space for 2 people and it was very well equipped, clean and comfortable.

After a long conference day, it is fantastic to settle down in the evening on the terrace. The drink options and kitchen were also fully stocked. We would definitely come back!
