The staff treated me like family!! Very helpful with suggestions on what to do. A bonus is the "fondue chalet" which would be great for a group or couple. The location is close to the bus line or easy walking distance. The hotel is very organized for sking, with the ski room.

The family-run Bristol hotel is situated in a central yet quiet location in Zermatt, between the train station and the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It offers a spa area and free WiFi in all areas. Bardzo miła obsługa, hotel bardzo czysty i zadbany. Śniadania wspaniałe, bardzo duży wybór, wszystko świeże i każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Ski room dobrze wyposażony, są suszarki do butów, a także narzędzia typu śrubokręty. Ze snowboardem można spokojnie dojść pieszo w kilka minut na każdą ze stacji kolejek (Sunnega, Furi, Gornergrat).

Hotel Walliserhof Zermatt usytuowany jest w centrum miejscowości Zermatt, 300 metrów od dworca kolejowego. Chic hotel with an excellent selection for breakfast. Stayed only for one night as we were travelling around quite a bit but would definitely stay again!

We had a great dinner in the restaurant and breakfast was also very good with lots of choice. Parking was easy. Easy access to fabulous walks from the chair lift just up the road. Hotel is in a pretty little village with several other restaurants so there was choice. We didn't us the gym or sauna so cannot comment.

The road up is a typical mountain road with narrow, winding sections, so drive carefully. 🏡 Our apartment was clean and well-maintained. The bedroom was very comfortable – the bed was great, though the pillows are quite big and high, which might not suit everyone. 🍳 The kitchen is fully equipped, but a few items are a bit worn – for example, the potato peeler was rusty. Also, note that there is no soap or shower gel in the bathroom, so make sure to bring your own. A funny detail: if you need extra toilet paper, you have to request it at reception and pay 0.50 CHF per roll. 🧼 Overall cleanliness was very good. There was a bit of dust in some areas – maybe the apartment hadn’t been used since winter – but towels and linens were fresh and clean. 🚗 Parking is available, but it’s paid. Getting from the parking lot to the room was a bit confusing – we had to switch between three elevators – but you do receive a map with instructions, so don’t worry too much. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 There’s a small play area for kids with a lovely terrace where parents can relax and enjoy the view. It could use a few more games or toys to make it more engaging. 👀 Our room didn’t have a direct view, but that wasn’t a problem – the terrace offers amazing scenery, and even the walk from the parking lot gives you incredible views. 🤝 The staff was polite and helpful, though not particularly warm – they could be a bit friendlier. 💸 Overall, the value for money was very good, and I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful mountain escape with all the basics covered.

I totally enjoyed this hotel! It is brand new, rooms are really nice, well equipped, the staff is friendly and willing to help! I would 100% come back and book it again!
