Haus Stehlings features views of the Old Town of Monschau. The guest house provides guests with free WiFi and is located a 1 hour drive from Cologne. Our stay in Haus Stehlings Monschau was perfect! The key collection was very easy, and the communication with the host was equally simple. He gave us perfect directions regarding car parking, and kindly sent a message via WhatsApp, right after our arrival, to check if everything was ok and if we needed anything. We also felt warmly welcomed by the thoughtful gesture of the "printen" (a must-have local gingerbread) on our beds. :) Our two-bedroom family room (Castle Room) was large, clean, comfortable and had a jaw-dropping view of the fairytale town of Monschau. Located right in the middle of the historic area, we were able to walk all around. We also walked to the shops/supermarket that are about 3 km away, in town. I highly recommend this property. Situated in Monschau, the recently renovated Villa Burgau features accommodation 33 km from Aachen Central Station and 34 km from Theatre Aachen. This was the perfect boutique hotel with rooms that were well decorated and of sufficient size. The staff was amazing, even making sure that we had a chilled bottle of Prosecco in our room for arrival. This hotel compliments the town of Monshau well!

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Ferienwohnungen Ahrweiler is a recently renovated apartment situated in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, 23 km from Sportpark Pennenfeld. Great owner who welcomed us. The apartment was superb and the location was perfect. Easy walk to the town with a selection of excellent restaurants and a great place to explore Ahr Valley a bit further (we did a walk through the local vineyards for example).
