Mamallacta Páramo Lodge bevindt zich in Papallacta met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, een kinderclub, bar, tuin, terras en speeltuin. Sommige units hebben een zithoek en/of een patio. Super vriendelijk personeel! Geen vraag was er teveel aan. Alles mooi ingericht ook. De ideale locatie om de termen te bezoeken en/of te gaan wandelen.

CASA BLANCA HORTENCIA heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras in Sucúa. Deze accommodatie heeft roomservice en een speeltuin. Family owned -- wonderful, kind folks. I felt like I was a personal guest. Beautiful grounds, pool, room. They are so hospitable and the breakfast is perfect. If you ask for anything, they'll arrange it for you!

Breakfast was very nice, we stayed for 3 nights and it changed a little every day. The property is approx 4/5 dollar taxi ride to Tena. We visited Laguna Azual twice during our stay. We got a taxi there and returned back on the public bus to Tena at 5:30pm from Laguna Azual. We had hoped to visit the beautiful waters which were very local to the hotel via bus but didn't manage to fit it in. We also go the bus back from Misahuailli to the hotel (make sure to take the canoe ride - def highlight), so the hotel is convenient in other ways despite being in a more isloated spot. The rooms are beautiful and grounds beautifully kept, with a small pool. WE never had dinner in restuarant instead enjoyed eating at Laguna Azual and having a snack in Tena in the PM. THere is one FANTASTIC value authentic souvenir shop in Tena, well worth going to, prices very reasonable and already priced so no haggling and a beautiful local ceviche restuarant that serves popcorn with all soups acrocss th e road from shop. Yum!

Hostal Pakay is gelegen in Tena, in een gebouw dat dateert uit 2011, en biedt een tuin en kamers met gratis WiFi. The property is beautiful. It’s within walking distance to everything but out of the hustle and bustle. Breakfasts were delicious. Tony, our host, was the best. We arrived late one evening and hadn’t been able to book whitewater rafting for the next day, so he made it happen for us with a personally guided tour that was an absolute highlight of our trip. This is a family run business that hires indigenous locals (you can buy some beautiful handicrafts on site) and is practising sustainability.

Banana Lodge in Puerto Misahuallí biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de tuin, een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een privéstrand, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Heerlijke lodge op een prachtige locatie. Op loopafstand van het centrum maar ver genoeg om geen last te hebben van de drukte. Gastvrije uitbaaters en heerlijk ontbeit.

Ecopark Hosteria Puyo ligt in Puyo, en is voorzien van een bar. Het hotel met 3 sterren biedt een tuin en heeft kamers met airconditioning en een eigen badkamer. Food was great, the staff fabulous. Room very big Ang the bed very comfortable. One week was not enough to enjoy everything.

Rio Quijos EcoLodge is een accommodatie met 5 sterren tegenover het strand in El Chaco met heeft een tuin, een privéstrand en een gedeelde lounge. The location is very special. I long for the sound of the river and the birds! The staff is exceptional. They were helpful, kind and knowledgeable. They helped us experience the birds in ways I would have not imagined.

Cabañas Papallacta en Finca Chucuri is gelegen in Papallacta. Deze chalet heeft een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. De chalet heeft 2 aparte slaapkamers, een volledig uitgeruste keuken, en 1 badkamer. Julio as really sweet with check in and check out. The views are great and open fire was amazing. + Gas stove for cooking. Beds are also really comfortable. If you are looking for a traditional, rustic Ecuadorian experience then this is for you.
