JJ guesthouse is a wonderfull place. The all family is welcoming, and always smiling. You will feel like home. The rooms are spacious, fully equiped (AC, fridge etc) and beds are very confortable. The house is perfectly located with an amazing rooftop with Nile view. On the rooftop the best chef of Aswan will take care of you and served you delicious breakfast. We could wash our clothes here, wich was usefull. Do not look for another place, book here and you wont regret it. We were really lucky to be there and we hope we will come back one day. Their hospitality was unmatched, and they were always ready to assist us. When we needed to leave early for a trip to Abu Simbel, they thoughtfully prepared a breakfast box for us. The range of activities they offer, such as the boat ride and the drive to Abu Simbel, were not only reasonably priced but also of high quality. One of the highlights of our stay was the Nubian party with live music hosted by the property. The lively atmosphere and the enchanting music made the evening an unforgettable experience.

We had an amazing stay at New Abu Simbel Hotel—by far the best experience we’ve had in Egypt. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The whole place has a more relaxed, warm vibe than anywhere else we visited in Egypt, which made our time here especially memorable. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, and the food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious. We can’t recommend this place highly enough—if you’re visiting Abu Simbel, spend a night or two here. It’s the perfect way to experience the town beyond just the temples.

He helped us cross the island to the city side to take some tours and then to be driven to the airport in the middle of the night/early in the morning. Breakfast was very good and the guest house is beautiful. The island is super calm and nice with a delicious restaurant that has a great view of the Nile. I would definitely recommend his place!!!
