Set in Aswan and with Aga Khan Mausoleum reachable within 23 km, The Mango Guest House offers express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a casino, free WiFi and a garden. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming. I had to leave for Abu Simbel at 4 AM and they kindly prepared a breakfast box for me, which I really appreciated. The place was very clean, and the garden is beautiful and relaxing, especially in the evening. The only thing to keep in mind is that since the Elephantine island is not connected by bridges, if you need to check out at night you should arrange the boat transfer in advance.

Exotic resort in the middle of the Nile on an island near the centre of Aswan. 28 acres of landscaped gardens with magnificent views of the Nile, mountains and Aswan city. Everything was amazing. Saff, room, wiev, food. Kristina was profesional and the mister Imad from yakub bazar jewelry store was fantastic. Our waitter who served us in Nefertari restoran was also amazing. We had such a beautiful time in this hotel and we are definitely comming back here. Thank you for eveything.

Located within 22 km of Aga Khan Mausoleum and less than 1 km of Nubian Museum, JJ Guesthouse provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Aswan. The guesthouse was very welcoming and immediately helped us bring our bags from the ferry. When we asked to change dates, they made it easy, and then when we wanted to change room it was also easy. The roof-top was a great asset with a clear view across the Nile full of faluccas and other boats. It was quiet and we slept well in excellent beds. the windows, and small balcony were great. The bathroom was adequate and clean. JJ helped us get an excellent driver, Mustapha, who spoke good english and was very attentive. Both JJ and his wife spoke good english. At first we were asking ourselves some questions about staying on an island which is still quite underdeveloped, but then we got to realize we were having an authentic experience of an African Nubian village and the village life all around. We loved the weaving shop and the spice shop near the ferryboat and made them our base. The ferryboat went every few minutes and cost almost nothing. We found good restaurants also, even one with beer and wine.

Nala Narty Nubian House & Organic Farm has a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Aswan. Must try to breakfast and dinning!!!! They're made fresh meal with a organic farm everyday :) Location is not too close city town but very quiet and calm, also Perry boat schedule at every time! BEST EVER IN ASWAN Thank you so much again all the staff :))

Situated in Aswan, 18 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Nebro Nubian Guest House - Adults Only features recently renovated accommodation with free WiFi and a terrace. The place is very nice, with kind and helpful staff. They offered hibiscus juice as welcome drinks and provided water throughout our stay. The owner Hafez was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and design is modern and comfortable but with a Nubian style. It’s also fun to stay in the Nubian village and we got to see crocodile in people’s homes. There was also a nice restaurant next door that we ate for both nights so after all we had everything despite it’s remote location and we don’t regret staying there because Aswan’s city center also doesn’t have much for tourists.

We spent four nights in that lovely place on the Elephantine Island. The guesthouse is ideally located on the bank of the Nile and faces the spectacular Aga Khan Mausoleum atop the West Bank's cliff. Fabulous views from the comfortable terrace at sunrise and sunset! You can reach and leave the property by boat on request ( private and free service) or walk through the Nubian Village to or from the public boat station - a boat will regularly ply between the Corniche in Aswan and the Elephantine Island: we loved it as we could see everyday life and meet local people each time! The guesthouse has two lovely rooms, large and well-designed, comfortable and very quiet, with easy access to the terrace opening onto the river - magic and so so peaceful! Breakfast is prepared on request and the food (whether it is fish or meat) is so delicious and so generous that we quickly chose to stay at night and have dinner - home-made food in a family-run property, another blessing! You will quicly feel part of the family and share blissful and inspiring moments with Mostafa and his nephew. Excellent value for money, with cheap shuttle to the boat station (EGP 500) and perfect service whatever you may be willing to do during your stay. We do recommend "Nile Bride" to any visitor(s) in Aswan - Egypt at its best, in a gorgeous natural and human environment!

It was the best place we stayed in our whole trip in Egypt! Everything was new and clean, AC worked great, breakfast was delicious and the host was super helpful. I can’t recommend it enough!

Featuring a terrace, Dolty Kato Nubian House By Kato Dool is set in Aswan in the Dhofar region, 18 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum and 11 km from Nubian Museum. This hotel is highly recommended! The location is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable with lovely beds, the food is Nice and the staff is incredibly helpful. Excursions are well organised. It was great fun on the falucca with sunset.

Situated in Abu Simbel, 2.3 km from Abu Simbel Temples, New Abu Simbel Tourist Hotel offers accommodation with a restaurant and free private parking. Friendly and very welcoming staff. Good size room and very clean. We enjoyed a big breakfast with an excellent omelett. The hotell is well situated for visiting the Abusimbel Temple.
