We had been told no dinner table until 7.45 but did not advise us we could eat in the bar…….Tony took care of everything. Alex was also very prompt with requests and polite in our dealings. Great evening meal.

Starting from the arrival, to the visit in the restaurant and the visit to the bar, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was simply superb. Beds were comfortable and it was ideal for us as we were touring by motorbike. Safe free parking was also a big bonus for us.

Set on York’s Clifton Road, Burton Stone Inn offers free WiFi access and 1 guaranteed parking space per room for all guests. The husband and wife team are amazingly helpful and accommodating. Great breakfasts, stylish rooms, good beds, car park and short walk into York centre.

The staff, especially Debbie, Katie and Georgia were in particular, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was large and comfortable. The food was excellent and I particularly loved the outside space. We will definitely stay here again.

The shared space / siderooms are fantastic, will definitely stay here again. Our first time to Scarborough was made that much more comfortable with our excellent care here, thank you!
