We are retired and have travelled the world extensively. We know when a hotel is not up to expectations (and have walked out of a couple after just a few hours). This place was exceptional. I just reread the past comments - accept what all the good ones say at face value because they reflect our experience there. Irini was exceptional on the front desk and Elizabeth, who cleaned our room every day, was exceptional! When I read each negative review I wondered if they are referring to a different hotel. If those people were expecting a $500 a night experience they should have stayed in a $500 a night hotel - there are lots to choose from on the island. Having a rental car I found there was always a parking space to return to without having the negotiate the narrow streets of the inner town. My wife’s main criteria is a comfortable bed and a clean room and environment. Mohitero got 5/5 on both. We really enjoyed the gardens and the birds and the peace and quiet. We would have no hesitation returning. It was a nice place to come “home” to after a busy day. The pictures on Booking reflect what was saw while there.

Bedspot Hostel er þægilega staðsett í Fira og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi, sameiginlega setustofu, ókeypis WiFi og verönd. Christina was the best thing about this place! Super friendly and went out of her way to try and match me with other solo travellers on catamaran tour to make my stay better :), and gave me great recommendations on things to do on my other free day. Location is great too, close to Fira bus stop, so can freely get around anywhere. The hot tub looked nice too although I didn't have time to use it.

Featuring an outdoor pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, the Cycladic-style Ifestos is quietly located 500 metres from the centre of Fira and offers air-conditioned accommodation. We adored this little hotel. It's about a 5-10 min walk south from the bustling Fira centre, which we loved. Just removed enough to breathe a sigh of relief away from the crowds, but close enough to easily stroll into town. Our room was one of the small ones, but lovely and clean, had everything we needed, and we loved the little patio. The drying rack on the patio was appreciated and we used it a lot. The pool area was awesome, the bar/kitchen was delicious and all the staff were a delight- be sure to tip them well!

Offering rooms with a private balcony, Pension Ptolemeos is situated 20 metres from shops and bars in Fira and 200 metres from the Caldera. Katerina was great, she made us feel very welcome and when I was checking in she provided lots of information on good places to eat, where the local supermarket was and things to do. The pool was a lovely addition too. Rooms were basic but clean and what we needed, as we just needed somewhere to put our heads down after being out all day.

Situated in Fira, Kykladonisia offers tastefully decorated rooms with air conditioning. It has 2 furnished terraces overlooking the Aegean Sea. Location was PERFECT!!!!! The receptionist were amazing. Very friendly ppl. In the heart for fira and the square/town is literally 4 mins walk. Beautiful view.

My daughter was so well connected with the Hotel - enjoyed her time in hot tub & with our friendly staff. On top of it, such a perfect location to explore Oia. Even the hotel's rooms and amenities radiate impeccable quality, ensuring guests enjoy a luxurious experience at an affordable rates. This place surely becomes our next choice as well :)

Just steps from the beach, this family-run resort offers a peaceful location in Karterados Beach and a personalised service. First of all, I want to praise Anna and Artemis. Cheerful hosts who provided us with free transportation from the airport and back. They helped us rent a four-wheeler and book a cruise with a visit to Vulcan and Thirasía. The ratio between the price and the accommodation itself is justified. The rooms were nice, the pool and the view from it were wonderful. As for the contents of the room itself, everything is clearly stated in the description, as well as the location. The planes didn't bother us, nor did the "distance" from some contents. We had our own peace without the noise and crowds of tourists. We will be happy to return. Ευχαριστώ Μαρία και Όγκη.
