Wow, where to begin? We didn't have much expectations coming to Terimakasih, but the stay completely exceeded any expectation we could have formed. The pictures on booking don't do the property justice; the cabins, view, restaurant, general facilities were all excellent. The staff was so friendly, and always ready to help. They cleaned the cabin daily and we got banana fritters as snack in the afternoon (still dreaming about them). It was so relaxing in the hammock on the porch, and it wasn't hot with the breeze from the ocean. It was my happy place for a small week. The house reef was colourful and full of fish. In the evening we saw bioluminesence around the cabin in the water. As far as homestays go- this one outshines them (speaking for experience). I'd rather you didn't book so there will always be a place for me, but I understand if you do based on this review :) It has all the ingredients for a wonderful vacation. Thanks, Mario + team.

The beach and the water are gorgeous. Also the price- quality is super good for the area, very affordable, the resort is in between homestays and ultra expensive resorts. Also, kayaks and SUP are included, as well as coffee/ tea/water. And for the food you can ask double portion free of charge.

You know how people only ever write a review when an experience was either truly bad or exceptionally good. Well, this review will be an exceptionally good one. It was our first time in Raja Ampat, let alone Indonesia. Eddo Homestay was our first accommodation and we had low expectations from what we generally read about accommodations in Raja Ampat and because it was a newly built place with few reviews. However, our expectations were exceeded. The first thing I wanna highlight is the hospitality, kindness and service of all the staff there. I especially want to mention Acho, the guy who manages the Homestay and took care of anything we needed. The first two days we were the only two guests at the Homestay and had the best experiences. Acho personally went snorkeling with us at Yenbuba Jetty, took us to a Sandbank, to Sauwandarek Village and Arborek. He was pretty much our personal guide and we enjoyed every single minute of it. He went above and beyond to fulfill all our "wishes" / requests, no matter what it was about (excursions, food, more data for our sim card, etc.). He would also always sit with us for every meal, talk to us, share about life in Indonesia. It was like hanging out with your older brother. They also tried their best to offer a variety of different foods each day. For breakfast we had toast, fried eggs, pancakes, Nutella, jam, cheese and one day (upon our request) even Avocado. For lunch and dinner it's mostly rice but always with either fish, meat, vegetables, salad, etc. And always delicious. Our highlight were the chocolate chip cornflakes with cold fresh milk though. The cabins were very spacious with a double bed and mosquito net, a couch, a little closet area with hangers and a fan. The bathroom was huuuge and beautifully designed. Each cabin has a terrace with two lounge chairs where we mostly hung out. We had everything we needed. The entire place was very clean, the cabins, the restaurant, everything.

The houses are set right on a stunning, quiet white-sand beach, close to a charming village with happy children and friendly people all around. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, serving excellent home-cooked Indonesian meals, even fresh-caught fish grilled over a BBQ for lunch, and delicious cakes at coffee time. The coral reef just in front of the houses is vibrant and full of marine life, and the beach is always kept spotless. The entire family helps run the homestay, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests can enjoy captivating live music played on handmade instruments and take part in thoughtfully organized day trips for birdwatching, waterfall hikes, and more—all with pristine rainforest just steps from their doorstep.

Paparisa homestay was amazing! Rio and his Team are taking really good care that everyone has a lovely stay and help where they can to arrange transportation or daytrips or diving. The bungalows are very clean, spacious and well equipped. We even had our own bathroom which is definitely a luxury on the island! Overall a great place to relax and enjoy the island life. The Food was also very good and there was also lots of variety, even though I am vegetarian :) Definitely one of the best places to stay in raja ampat!
