Tucked away down country lanes , set on a river. Our welcome was warm and genuine. We found all the staff to be polite and friendly even though they were dealing with a roomful of people.We liked the food so much we had lunch, dinner and breakfast here. Definitely worth a detour.

Opposite the Beechill College, The Meadows Bed and Breakfast is just 2 minutes' walk from the Hillgrove Hotel and 8 minutes' walk from Monaghan town centre. Free WiFi access is available. The room is clean, the sightseeing outside is very beautiful especially during sunset and raining, here also provides the most delicious breakfast that I had tried during the whole trip in several countries. And the most important thing is that the landlord is really nice!!! if we go to Monaghan again, we will still book this hotel!

Pauline is exceptionally warm and kind. We all enjoyed chatting with her. The accommodations were exceptional! We appreciated the small kitchen and breakfast foods provided. Highly recommend staying here. Easy to locate, good signage, lovely hostess, comfortable beds, and ample parking.
