It is located right on the main road, but is well protected by a wall and a pasture with (in our case) two Icelandic horses. The house leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is well thought out, practical, beautiful, and clean. A truly lovely place where you would want to stay longer. Self-check-in makes arrival times very flexible.

Aiaga majutusasutus Bjork Guesthouse asub Laugarvatnis, 25 km kaugusel Thingvelliri rahvuspargist, 29 km kaugusel Geysirist ja 39 km kaugusel Gullfossi joast. The room was spacious, extremely clean, comfortable and new. We had a kettle with a coffee/tea prepared which we enjoyed after rainy and cold day outside. Brand new private bathroom made our day! The host was very responsive and he introduced us that there will be some reconstruction that I appreciated! Good location for exploring the Golden circle. I highly recommend.

The place exceeded the expectiation! The hot tub and the sauna was a amazing bonus, we could see the aurora from the hot tub

Overlooking Höfn Harbour and Vatnajökull Glacier, this hostel features a guest kitchen, BBQ area and laundry facilities. Staff can help arrange glacier tours, as well as boat and snowmobile trips. Clean hostel, with good amount of everything (wc, kitchen tables, etc.).

The family-owned Hótel Lækur is set on an Icelandic horse farm, between the Golden Circle and the south coast. Hella is 10 minutes’ drive away. It offers a sun terrace and a guest lounge. Very nice and cosy location off the beaten track. Stayed in the larger cabin, good for 3 but could have easily accommodated more people. Nice view to the river and sunset. Nice dinner and breakfast. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Lost a charging cable at a previous location and front desk were able to help. We definitely enjoyed staying and will come again another time !
