Dormy Inn Aomori Natural Hot Spring is set in Aomori, 6 km from Sannai-Maruyama site and 43 km from Tsuta Hot Spring. With a restaurant, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. We liked many aspects at the Dormy Inn Aomori Hotel, like the breakfast with many Japanese food, the larger room with twin beds (compared to the double bed rooms), the very nice Onsen bath, the very kind reception and cleaning staff.

Conveniently situated in the Aoba Ward district of Sendai, Onyado Nono Sendai Natural Hot Spring is located 300 metres from Sendai City Community Support Center, 18 km from Shiogama Shrine and 800... Cleanest hotel I have ever seen, extremely polite staff, delicious breakfast.

Located in Yamagata, 17 km from Zao Onsen Ski Resort, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Yamagata Ekimae provides accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking and massage services. The room is spacious (in Japanese standard), modern and clean. There’s a small sofa and a desk chair, so both of us can sit at the same time. This is so special for Japanese hotel at the same price range. Bathroom is roomy and modern. The overall vibe of the hotel is modern and cozy. Short walk from Yamagata station and 7-11 down stairs is a plus.

New GH, opened Sep 24, bunk beds are very comfortable, everything is supper clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Price is fair. Location is also great. On historic road.

Set in Yamagata and with Zao Onsen Ski Resort reachable within 600 metres, オーベルジュ樹氷 offers a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Right on the resort. Ski-in ski-out. Similar setup to a Hostel but a little nicer. Owner was great.

かぐら庵 is situated in Kitakata, 22 km from Mount Iimori, 38 km from Mount Bandai, as well as 23 km from Aizuwakamatsu Castle. Explanation of how everything worked in English and showing all the nice places to visit.

Situated in Takagi, 11 km from Shiogama Shrine, Bridge33 CAFE AND HOSTEL features air-conditioned accommodation and a bar. Very nice people, clean facilities, cute bar downstairs, with spacious rooms and delicious breakfast (paid). It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.
