Given Sri Lanka’s electricity shortages, it's advisable to switch these off when leaving the room. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, and every member of the staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly, making us feel truly welcomed. The pool may not be large, but it’s perfect for a refreshing dip. There are six sun loungers, three or four of which are covered, providing a great spot to relax even if it rains. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink and a shot, a thoughtful touch to start our stay on a high note. Breakfast offered a choice between Western and Sri Lankan dishes, with the local options changing daily. Each day, we received a complimentary 1-liter bottle of water per person and a coconut, which was thoughtfully brought to us by the pool without even needing to ask. Pool towels were provided, though you’ll need to bring your own beach towels if heading to the shore. On our last evening, the hotel treated us to a complimentary dinner—a gesture that truly showcases their exceptional service! The location is also fantastic. Both Secret Beach (which is becoming a bit touristy) and Mirissa Beach are just a 5-minute walk away. Whale-watching operators are also within a 5-minute stroll, and the main street is about 10 minutes on foot. We were delighted to see plenty of wildlife around the hotel, including peacocks, various birds, a snake, and even monkeys. Overall, our stay was fabulous! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would return for another memorable vacation.

Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. Everything. From staff extremely helpful. Namanthi to ur assistant was really exceptional. As well as all other staff.

The property is incredible — just around 1.5 km from Hiriketiya Beach. It’s in a safe and peaceful location. We stayed in the family apartment, which was very spacious and luxurious. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and super comfortable. It's perfect for everyone — families, couples, or friends. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

A beautiful hotel with a lovely pool and stunning sea views. You’re right on the beach. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful — nothing is ever too much for them. The owner’s son even personally took me to the hospital. Always smiling, such a warm and welcoming place. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The restaurant also serves delicious food. It’s only a 4-minute drive from Hiriketiya.

The owner Enrico is the most hospitable and friendly host, he accommodated our every need. The value for money is exceptional. Quiet and serene surroundings for those looking for a peaceful getaway. The breakfast is made by Enrico himself and it is really healthy, tasty and fulfilling.

He always made sure I was comfortable during my stay. Rooms are spacious for one person and clean. Excellent location just 2 minutes from the beach and the main road where there are shops and restaurants.

From the moment you walk into the hotel, it feels like home. The view of the room was breathtaking, you get to wake up everyday to a beautiful view. The bathroom was spacious and so good. Chandana, the best chef in this world. He made us feel at home and made us the most delicilous breakfast and dinner everyday. The whole staff were super super friendly and welcoming. The pool is really nice and relaxing. 10 mins away from Secret beach which is a walking distance. We will definitely return again. We recommend it 100%. Special place to our hearts❤️

Z původně rezervovaných dvou nocí se stal nakonec týden naší nejlepší zastávky v rámci celé Sri Lanky. Čisté a moderní prostředí, vše plně funkční a v době naší návštěvy nové. Možnost pronájmu motorky/taxi, možnost velmi chutné lokální snídaně, oběda či večeře v rodinné atmosféře. Lokalita poblíž oblíbených podniků a krásné pláže. Moc doporučuji všem.
