The owner is nice and helpful, you can ask him tips, book taxi and prepare your morning safari with a very good company and keen driver😃.(we saw 3x the leppards)

The accommodation is very comfortable and have a charming, rustic feel that blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. The camp’s commitment to sustainability and eco-friendliness is commendable. The staff is super friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to ensure our stay was pleasant. We enjoyed a memorable bush walk with Mr. Nishantha near sunset. His extensive knowledge and passion for local wildlife truly enriched the experience. Mr. Kalindu was our guide for a full-day safari trip; his resourcefulness and expertise in the field were impressive. We came to Yala National Park hoping to see a leopard, and he made sure we didn’t leave disappointed. 10/10 guys! Thank you so much!!

This is a very comfortable hotel and the family who runs it is lovely! They took me to see bats flying at sunset and cooked incredible meals. I also did the full day safari - my guide was extremely knowledgeable and respectful of the animals’ environment.

Very well situated with great host who make sure your stay will be amazing. He can manage your safari tour so you dont have to take care about anything. He will even take your for sunset ride around the lake to explore and see animals. Highly recomend this place!

Words cannot really express how kind and accommodating Nalin and his family were. They did so much beyond expectations to make our stay perfect. We had to stay an extra day due to sickness and from getting medication from the pharmacy, arranging everything we needed no matter what and just generally being very interesting and keen to learn about other cultures in a completely comfortable and non intrusive manner it was superb. Been to Sri Lanka many times and mat so many kind Sri Lankans but Nalin clearly stands out. The rooms were spotless, no smell of damp (which can happen due to humidity in some places), we had the room of AC which was lovely, but a family member had a non ac room which was comfortable with the fans provided. Food was superb and they will arrange ahead of any dietary requirements. It was an honour to stay there and have the please of such good hospitality. I can see why this is 10/10 and 5* on Google! Also ask ahead about Safari and what animals you want to see and the type of trip you want because Yalla can be quite hectic and Nalin will help a lot. We arranged a tour beforehand which was good but it would have been better to have had some local knowledge prior to this as the Safari was quite hectic.

The camp is located right next to Yala Nationalpark surrounded by nature. There is a rock next to the camp on which we were served evening tea with a super scenic sunset. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the food was really amazing.

I really enjoy this stay and especially the host. Udara was so helpful with everything. He arranged an incredible dinner for us (his mother cooked) and the breakfast was also awesome. He also played some UNO almost until midnight with us and we talked a lot about stuff in Sri Lanka and Yala especially. The vila is big and beautiful, the rooms are completely soundproof (the massive doors help a lot). Udara also hosts three snakes in a tree in the garden and they are so small and beautiful, and also harmless. He also went with us to a temple nearby and explained the history of it.
