This boutique hide-away made us deconnect from the outside world. Beachfront, comfy bungalows, the whitest and softest sand, a soothing ocean breeze, and tasty food in the restaurant with ocean view. Ernesto (the hotel manager) and the rest of the team were super friendly and made our stay extra enjoyable. A plus was the free walking tour to the reef with a Masai which was organised by the hotel.

Izabella the owner is kind and so are all the staff.

Loved everything about this place. Breakfast was awesome with freshly made eggs, and coffee and fresh tropical fruits. It is well decorated. Conveniently located in the shopping center with many restaurants within walking distance. Beach front. With a beautiful pool. The owner checked on us to make sure we were enjoying. Pool was open 24 hrs. We brought drinks from outside and drunk by the pool.

Vše bylo perfektní od samého začátku – od počáteční komunikace a vřelého přivítání, přes samotný pobyt, až po odjezd. Musím vyzdvihnout velice milý a ochotný personál, který se o nás skvěle staral. Také jídla v restauraci byla výborná. Ananda Beach Hotel určitě doporučuji a moc rád se sem znovu vrátím.

This place really exceeded my expectations. The beds were super comfy, with great privacy. It almost makes you forget you’re actually sleeping in a dorm. The pool area is lovely — perfect for a refreshing dip after a day at the beach — and the food was genuinely great, which isn’t something you can always say for hostels.

I was honestly surprised by how attentive the managers were. They came every day to ask if we needed anything, which made us feel really well taken care of. The poolside service was incredibly fast and efficient. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

We spent nearly a week at the newly opened KAI Zanzibar Hotel & Spa in Nungwi as the final stop of our honeymoon — and what a perfect ending it was! From the moment we arrived, the KAI team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They personalized so many details for us, including a beautiful floating breakfast to celebrate our honeymoon. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, which was absolutely stunning — and yet we still found ourselves admiring the gorgeous common pool area too. When we arrived after a long safari tour, I wasn’t feeling well, and the team immediately made me a fresh ginger tea. They even arranged a dinner takeout and brought it to our room so I could rest — it’s these thoughtful gestures that really stood out to us. The entire facility is peaceful, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. Our villa and pool were cleaned daily, and it was such a joy to come back to a fresh, welcoming space every day. Mounir and the whole team were so warm and attentive — they truly made sure we were looked after from start to finish. The location is great too — close to the beach and nightlife, yet tucked away enough for some serenity. We’re so happy we chose KAI for the final part of our honeymoon and we’d absolutely come back again.
