Location was good for tiny Las Galeras. Must have a car or be calling a ride, tho, for anything because the restaurant is off limits. That was in the listing, so be prepared. Nice little beach nearby. Pool was cool and clean. Elin who got us set up with key, wifi, info and a leak/repair was great and communicative. Roomy place for 2 and it can sleep a few kids in beds in loft which we didn't even use. LOTS of beach towels (which we needed for a leak). Patio was large and we used it for breeze, to eat, to relax. Newer washer was a treat after 2 weeks on the road. Bed was comfortable.

Offering beachfront massages, yoga sessions, an indoor pool and hot tub, Hotel Casa Coson is located in Las Terrenas, right in front of Playa Coson Beach. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. A very beautiful, well-maintained property with an absolutely gorgeous adjoining beach. Wonderfully idyllic, lots of unspoiled nature, and you almost have the beach to yourself. Our room was upstairs in the main building — nicely furnished, comfortable, and clean. The ground floor rooms are not recommended, as they are quite dark. The accommodation’s restaurant is pricey but very good and delicious. Across the street, there’s another restaurant that is much more affordable and just as tasty. All in all very much recommended !
