Our stay at Uma Buug was the highlight of our latest trip to Bali. We loved staying in the traditional,thatch roof hut, surrounded by rice paddies and the beautiful backdrop of Mt Agung. Our lovely host organized an amazing 4 hour hike through the rice paddies, jungle and village, meeting lots of local people on the way. Our hut had beautiful, fresh white sheets and the shared bathroom was modern and beautifully clean. The breakfast prepared for us was lovely and freshly made and we look forward to staying at Uma Buug again.

Set within 38 km of Goa Gajah and 40 km of Tegenungan Waterfall, Kaura Bali offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Candidasa. Very peaceful, we enjoyed our stay and immediately felt relaxed in nature. The staff were exceptional, food delicious and fresh and the level of cleanliness excellent. The activities on offer are clever and worthwhile additions but it was also great just to kick back and admire the wonderful views and unwind. Would definitely recommend Kaura.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this glamping site in Bali — a truly unique and memorable way to enjoy the island. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home, from creating a cosy bonfire for marshmallows to hosting a delicious BBQ. Our children loved spending time in the river fishing with their rods and exploring nature — it was a perfect outdoor adventure for them. Despite the rustic charm, the tent was very comfortable with a comfy mattress and air conditioning, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring Virgin Beach. The rustic feel adds to the overall charm and authenticity of the experience, making it a great escape from the usual hotel stay.

Featuring garden views, ECOZY by Biji Valley offers accommodation with balcony, around 36 km from Goa Gajah. What’s there not too like!? This stay was incredible and I’m so grateful I was able to stay here. Firstly, the location is amazing. You are completely immersed in a lush green paradise. The town is quite rural and far from the city, so a lot calmer than Kuta/ Denpasar/Seminyak. The staff are incredible and so kind. Willing to accommodate to every request. The food at the restaurant was delicious and well priced, felt as if I was at a gourmet restaurant (Mexican and Italian themed).
