Amazing a must do when in Japan. Free access to private BBQ, oven and plates ect was an amazing touch. Staff super friendly even helped us book a taxi back to the station

Was so lovely to sit and watch the sun set over Mt. Fuji. Proximity to town and main eating areas. Clean and you could tell a lot of effort had been put into ensuring we had everything we needed.

If you are travelling to Mount Fuji, this is a MUST STAY!!! Prior to arriving, my fiancé and I were feeling a bit hesitant as we did not have a car, and were unsure how we were going to access restaurants/ the main town. BUT, this was not an issue at all. If you are also concerned about this, please don’t be!!! We were collected from Kawaguchiko Station at 5pm on the day of our arrival. The staff were so accomodating and flexible to collect us despite 5pm being outside of their shuttle collection times. We really appreciated this. Each day, the staff operate a shuttle to the main town, leaving at 10am and then collecting you again at 3.30pm or 4.30pm to return to the campsite. We used this service on our full day at Mount Fuji and it was perfect. We didn’t feel like we needed a car at all. The staff at Kawaguchiko Station are so knowledgeable and helpful to support you to find your way around the main town. There is a free shuttle service to main parts of the town which we used to spend our day at a traditional Japanese onsen. We purchased breakfast at the campsite both mornings that we were there. It was delicious and I definitely recommend this as if you don’t bring your own food, you won’t be able to access food until you use the shuttle and get to the main town. We chose not to purchase the BBQ dinner as we thought this was quite pricey. Instead, we use the Cafe at the campsite to order some wood fire pizza’s. The cafe is open from 9am to 6pm. We pre-planned and ordered our pizza’s at about 5pm. We then kept these stored until we were ready for dinner and reheated them on the barbecue. Much cheaper and still delicious. So if you also don’t have a car, there is definitely still ways to access food with a bit of pre-planning. Our campsite was warm, cosy, clean and the view of Mt Fuji is breathtaking!!!! I don’t think you can find a more incredible view than at Qoonel!!!

The tent is spacious, comfortable and clean. Well equipped with indoor (e.g. board games) as well as outdoor games (e.g. badminton, kids archery, etc), great facilities. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. Had great time at the campfire arranged by the staff.

The view of Fuji is spectacular, especially sunrise and sunset. It’s also dark enough to see stars though not a lot Heated beds during the early winter period was a god send. The hotel staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, spoke English and helped to lug our heavy luggages up the stairs and rough terrain to our rooms. Outdoor gas fired bbq with all food items prepared for you. Since there’s already pictures of the room, I’m going to provide my view of Mt Fuji.

The accommodation was amazing, this was the highlight of our trip! The view of Mount Fuji was incredible!! (We got very lucky with the weather) and the facilities were perfect! Very spacious, very clean and very comfortable. Heating also available and the Dyson hair dryer was a bonus! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay
