I found this place on Google Maps, and it turned out to be an incredible experience — living in nature, camping, and spending time with a beautiful Thai family. I’m truly grateful to Tom and his family, who were kind, warm, and very attentive. They picked me up from the pier, invited me to dinner several times, and even helped me shop at the island’s minimarket. They were always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. Tom also guided me around and helped me explore the island. As for the campsite, it’s well set up. One day there was a storm, and the tent held up perfectly. The island is very natural, with a rich insect ecosystem, so I recommend bringing repellent. Still, this is part of the island’s charm — wild, untouched, and unlike any other island I visited in Thailand. If you're looking for a place without tourists, surrounded by nature and ideal for meditation or disconnecting, this is the perfect spot.
