He greeted me at the caravan and handed over the keys and explained everything I needed to know. He also gave me directions from the train station when I rang him as I wasn't sure. Whilst basic, the caravan was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of blankets and duvets provided which meant I was warm in bed. It was of course basic, but that's part of the charm of it. The description on booking.com is very accurate and honest. Torches (flashlights) were provided and also power banks (fast charging) for charging devices which all worked really well. Whilst I was there the temperature got down to - 7 Celsius at night on two of the nights, however Chris has already accounted for this and drafted in and extra heater which was very much appreciated. Accomodation is very retro and basic however this was not a problem for me and I really liked it. Would definitely stay again. Hopefully when it's warmer. Chris also had good local knowledge and provided me with a contact number straight after I booked. He also managed my expectations well when I initially booked a d explained everything accurately and honestly. Location was amazing. Tucked away in a little courtyard and very quiet and I felt very safe. I slept very well every night. Also very close to the main train station , less than a 2 minute walk to the tunnel through to the train station and an 8 minute walk to the central bus station. Chris provided advice on public transport and tickets too.

We booked tiny house for a night on our way home from Italy and for the price we were not expecting very much. So when we arrived we were amazed at what was fitted into such a small space. The bed was so comfortable and the whole place was spotlessly clean and bright. It was real fun to spend a night “up a tree” it takes glamming to a whole new level. The bathroom was exceptional. Clean very well appointed . Such a good idea to have your own bathroom. The heating was very efficient too. We had exchanged several friendly texts with the owner. But we’re not prepared for the welcome we got. As we were tired we decided to eat at the put in front of the property and had a very pleasant surprise when the owner introduced herself. She was just such a lovely lady I am smiling remembering her. She even gave me her phone to translate the menu. Could not do enough for us. We enjoyed a very nice meal and a few cold beers.
