and we stayed 6 nights. Everything about the property makes it perfect for any traveller. Accommodation, food and the beautiful gardens, makes this hotel 2nd to none in Mindo. However, the thing that made this property a stand out for us, was the staff. The owner is gracious and helpful and his staff follow his lead. A big shout out to Marco who went above and beyond, and to the whole team who just couldn’t do enough for us. Safe to say we will return and highly recommend this little slice of heaven to all.

CanadaThis is a hidden gem! The views & wildlife are amazing, the pool is beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was wonderful. And the room was so cool!! Only a 10min walk to town. They arranged a taxi for us to Mindo and he was the best. They also had a tour guide who took us to all the best places Mindo had to offer at a very reasonable price and be made our stay. We can’t recommend this place enough!!

United StatesI booked a stay at Casa Colibrí for my girlfriend and I’s one year anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. When we arrived, we found “Feliz Aniversario” spelled out in rose petals on the bed. It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that made the night feel really special.
Mariela was incredible and went above and beyond. She was at our beck and call for anything we needed, and her attention to detail made the whole experience seamless. On top of that, everything was absolutely immaculate. The property is spotless and beautifully maintained.
This was exactly the romantic, memorable experience I was hoping for, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. I cannot recommend this property enough!

Lodge right near a large expanse of preserved forest, several hikes available departing from the lodge. Excellent food, many organic products grown in the kitchen garden. The owner is super helpful.

United StatesSince our flight to Ecuador was delayed we did not make it to the property in time to sleep at the treehouse. The next morning we were driving to the Tarabita and butterfly center and we passed Eden Treehouses so we stopped in to see what we had missed. The front desk woman was very friendly, but since we don’t speak Spanish, communication was difficult. I asked if my kids could look at a treehouse and she agreed. Very tall treehouse - my kids loved going up and looking at it. Thank you to the woman who kindly went out of her way as soon as I asked for a favor.

The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. The lodge is well-maintained, offering scenic views, peaceful sounds, and incredibly nice people. My partner and I stayed here for five days following a trekking holiday to relax and reconnect, and it was exactly what we needed. The staff was not only caring but also attentive, genuinely listening to our feedback and making small changes daily to enhance our experience. We had an amazing time.
