Everything was just as listed. It is an ideal lodging for rest and relaxing after exploring this amazing part of Ireland. The cabin sits with a view you can look at for hours. Everything you need inside was fitted perfectly to match the space. You go to sleep looking at the stars and wake to the water view and lovely sheep in the pasture. It has a sitting area outside to enjoy the quiet and watch the sunset. Catriona is a perfect host and available to help when needed. We recommend this glamping cabin and we will be back whenever we're in this area. Thank you Catriona!

We loved our stay at Lissyclearig Lodge! Peter met us at the house and showed us around. He and his wife had left treats and a bottle of wine for us; he was very kind and said he'd be available if we needed him. The house was perfect for us. Each child got a room with a comfortable bed and bathroom, and we took the large bedroom/bath upstairs. We all had lots of room for our clothing and luggage, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. After 2 1/2 weeks of traveling around Ireland, it was the first time we had access to a blender and air fryer! My daughter and husband got sick about halfway through our stay until after left. We were so grateful that they had such a comfortable place to hang out during the day. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful for my daughter when her stomach was upset. We were also so grateful for a washer and dryer (many places in Ireland said they had a dryer but it turned out to be a drying rack). Town was very close (5 min), though I followed Google the first night to get my family some medicine and ended up on a dirt road going way out of the way. Because of two members being sick, we didn't get to explore Kenmare as much as we'd hoped, but when we drove through a couple times, it looked like such a fun and charming town. We spent a lot of time in and around Killarney and found that charming as well.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped with utensils for self catering. The laundry was a bonus not having to find a laundromat in town. The views of the lakes and mountains from across the road were stunning.
