Magnificent! Such a cozy cabin,all was perfect!

The Glass House was a great space for my wife and I to spent the last four nights of our 3-week Iceland trip. It's perfectly setup for two people, with plenty of space to spread out, and located in a small grouping of other summer homes that give the feeling of the peaceful Icelandic countryside while only being a short distance to Reykjavík. The house itself is brand new and extremely clean, with a calm and serene color palette and huge windows for viewing the beautiful forest trees surrounding the property. We both really loved the geothermal hot tub, and spent each night listening to the snipes drumming and loons calling from nearby fields and lakes. Having a washing machine was very convenient, and the wifi was nice and fast (we work while we travel). We had a small issue upon arrival— the host quickly responded within minutes and was very helpful to resolve (even very late at night). I could tell that they care about their guests' experience, which was really appreciated. We visit Iceland often, and definitely plan to book The Glass House again on future trips! TIP: The nearby road (435) is a really fun drive in the summer, as you head toward Þingvallavatn— don't miss it! (I believe it's closed October - May)

The cabin was amazing and so clean! And the view!!! That was my dream cabin! It has sauna and hot tub(fresh hot springs) and they were amazing!! Quite area. The owner was so kind, helpful and friendly!! We definitely have to come back this cabin asap!! Highly recommend!!!

This property has truly amazing views with mountains to the north and south, a view out to the sea past Reykjavik and a good view of a nearby lake. In the summer season, it is surrounded by wildflowers. The cabin is newly remodeled and stylish, everything is new and functional and check-in and check-out are simple. It is close enough to Reykjavik for anything city-related and is far enough out to be completely calm and secluded while also providing a 20-30 min head start on Golden Circle attractions. There are nice hiking trails starting from the nearby lake. It's quite a nice perch!
