United StatesWe LOVED everything! The view of the bridge and the jungle were absolutely stunning! It was a short walk down to the bridge if you wanted to get on the tracks which was great. The room itself was absolutely perfect. All of the amenities we could have asked for and you could tell it was very new. It was also a short tuk tuk ride into town when we wanted to do some shopping, and our host was so generous to give us a ride when we needed. The family that hosted couldn’t have been any sweeter, and we were so grateful for the time we got to spend there and the opportunity to have met them!!

CanadaWow! An oasis just 20 minutes outside of Ella. I would recommend this beautiful accommodation to anyone, espically if you need some peace & rest. Everything was perfect- comfortable bed, clean, hot water, clean spring water that comes out of the taps, delicious home cook meals & a stunning view. The host is so loving and really does everything with his heart, he is so kind and generous. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help & for making me feel so welcomed. I will truly miss this place.

NetherlandsWe had a great experience probably at Ella Cabana View, all through. The place is so spectacular whereby the view extends to sunny greenery and Ella rock in the far distance. The employees have done beyond their job to make us feel like at home as they gave us a friendly welcome and tremendous local advice. The rooms had unbelievable prevailed rooms, comfortable rooms, beautifully decorated rooms that reminded them that they are on some luxury holiday. This is a great recommendation when you need an escape at a therapeutic level yet still in touch with nature.

United StatesLiked · We loved our stay here. The house is very cute and it is easy to get to Ella or the local falls and hikes. Lal is always available on property for whatever you need, day or night. As two women traveling alone, we felt really comfortable with him- we even joked about him being like our dad. He is very sweet and always made sure we were taken care of whether it was for breakfast or laundry needs, etc. The breakfast was great and it’s easy to coordinate. WiFi is good. Coordinating with the hosts was easy as they were communicative throughout our stay. We would happily stay here any time we visit the area.

The host pays attention to the small details: the towels are soft and fresh, there are roses in different places as welcoming, arrival drinks with a cake.
I felt in love with the place. The terrace is also so nice. I could observe the squirrels and some special Sri Lanka bird.
The furniture is modern and stylish. It is very near to the center and bus station.
I will stay there next time when I am in Ella. Amazing hospitality.
