The place is amazing! Feels like a 5-star hotel but with love approach. The host pays attention to the small details: the towels are soft and fresh, there are roses in different places as welcoming, arrival drinks with a cake. I felt in love with the place. The terrace is also so nice. I could observe the squirrels and some special Sri Lanka bird. The furniture is modern and stylish. It is very near to the center and bus station. I will stay there next time when I am in Ella. Amazing hospitality.

The place is in a rather unique location, not easily accessed, but grants a great view. The room has a comfortable terrace with a kitchenette, which could be great for long stays - ask the host about the gas stove though. A lot of nature around. Great breakfast, efficient communication on WhatsApp.

Awesome place, clean rooms, good location, super hosts, tastiest food i've tried in Sri-Lanka. The location is perfect for everyone looking for peaceful time from busy center and crowds. Very supportive of solo travellers. A good spot for birdwatching.

The Eco lodge is a magic place. I spent countless hours enjoying the mountain breeze and the lush forest around, gazing at the stars at night and falling asleep with the most relaxing natural sounds. When having the chance I would consider working from there for a month or more. People are absolutely fantastic and goodhearted, plus they have so many activities that one is tempted never to leave this place. 10 on 10! 👌🏻

Wow! This was such a special place to have found. It really gets you into the mountains, with a beautiful 100m walk up into the summit of a gorgeous viewpoint. (Sunrise and Sunset). The privacy was unmatched and was perfect for a couple to enjoy the beauty. The cabin is very good quality and extremely cozy for those Ella nights. Lakshan, is one of the kindest hosts you could possibly ask for! He arranged a bike for us, amazing rain gear, and also offered tuktuk rides whenever we needed them. Breakfast was wonderful and delicious every morning (whatever time you request). We stayed for 4 days but wish it could have been longer. For sure coming back! With Love, Alba and Justin
