The room was excellent having all the required amenities and most of the facilities were quite modern. We loved the thermal pool and it allowed us to relax after a busy day out. The bed was very comfortable and we recommend this property highly!

I loved our private jacuzzi. The hosts, Rob and Karen were lovely. Their breakfasts are delicious. The decor of the lodge sure makes it feel like home. We enjoyed our stay.

The location was 10 minute drive from the centre of Taupo, breakfast was excellent. Angie and Garth were incredibly friendly giving us help with places to eat and all around the local area. Despite the cold weather in New Zealand for summer we had a fire in the lodge to keep us warm.

We were fortunate to enjoy the sunrise around 5:44am. It was so peaceful, accompanied by the sounds of nature and the gentle touch of the wind. The view of Lake Taupo from the house was stunning. We loved the breakfast provided—it was delicious and healthy.
