The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at the Utasa Lodge it was such a relaxing experience with wonderful views and the thick blankets kept us warm at night.
And as an added bonus the kittens was a huge hit wit the kids.

UkraineIt was my dream to live on the floating islands of Lake Titicaca. Walter and his family's lodge is one of the best places to live comfortably and observe the real life of the Uros people. I was worried that it would be cold. but the living conditions pleasantly surprised me - hot water, a large bed with duvets, huge windows through which the sun heats the room during the day and gas heaters for the evening. Walter's mother cooked delicious, fresh and healthy food for us. Walter took us on a boat ride every day and helped organize all the excursions. To work online, we needed the Internet, and in this part of the lake the mobile signal is strong enough to work. Because on the islands that are farther from the coast, the Internet connection is weak. Great experience!

Hong KongWhen I made the booking, I couldn't fully understand how a lodge could have a full score of "10" on both booking and Google. By the time we had our first meal there, we started to appreciate the effort and care our hosts put into this lovely place and understand why all the guests love this place! The lodge was clean, cozy, well-built, and beautifully decorated, in our guest room, on the deck, in the dining room...everywhere! Our hosts Juan and his wife took great care of us - Juan took us to the floating islands after we arrived at Titikaka and showed us around his neighborhood in the afternoon. He also told us what life is like for his family on the Titikaka. We were served delicious and fresh meals throughout the day in a lovely dining room. Eating in a cozy dining room with a window view of the breathtaking Lake was a memorable experience. We also had a chance to play with two of his kids and their house pets. Everything was lovely, I wish I stayed longer and I look forward to returning to this place!

We had very delicious lunch, dinner and breakfast. The view is stunning. The room was very large and we even had warm water in the shower. The dog Kira was very lovely. A really amazing experience.
