Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, free BBQ facilities and a free airport shuttle, Saltbush Retreat is a 3 minutes’ drive from Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Qantas Founders Museum. Absolutely wonderful stay at Saltbush. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly man (his name escapes me) who gave us a great recommendation for a butcher so we could get some steaks for dinner. The entire place is cozy and rustic. We didn’t use the baths but they looked so cool! Rooms were spacious, our cabin looked out onto some grass with kangaroos grazing, which was a delight for our 9 month old. It had everything we needed, including wine glasses, I only wish we’d bought a bottle from them! Highly recommend, we had a lovely little stay :)

Boasting a year-round outdoor pool, Turtle Sands in Bargara offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The location is perfect. We stayed in a studio unit which was modern and clean. There were nice touches such as body lotion and biscuits with the various teas, coffee and hot chocolate - these no longer seem standard in other places these days. Turtle well-being is paramount which is to be commended. We need to protect such a natural wonder and Turtle Sands takes this responsibility seriously which is great. The complimentary yoga sessions were great too

Featuring mountain views, Wild Nature Lodge, Mareeba Wetlands provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 48 km from Curtain Fig National Park. Very clean tents in the bush. Wonderfully quiet as we had the place to ourselves. The use of the visitor centre is great to enjoy water sunsets.

The bed, and pillows were very comfortable. There was everything that I needed for my short stay. . Breakfast muesli and good plunger coffee.

The Ridge at Maleny is set in Maleny, 28 km from Australia Zoo, 37 km from Aussie World, and 10 km from Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World. We really enjoyed the location, the views, the well equipped kitchen and the spa bath.

Featuring mountain views, The Summit 1770 features accommodation with balcony, around 2.8 km from Agnes Water. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The views, loved the day bed also

This is a gem in the most convenient location in Cape Tribulation (a mere 3 minute drive to where the meeting spot for the Great Barrier Reef snorkeling tour was). The apartment couldn’t have been cleaner, it was spacious, it was stocked with all you need to stay in and cook or just have a coffee or two before heading out for the day. The woman who runs this place is lovely, and takes such pride in the business she runs. I would recommend this place to any person coming to Cape Tribulation!

Located in Arcadia in the Magnetic Island region, with Geoffrey Bay Beach and Alma Bay Beach nearby, Dandaloo Gardens provides accommodation with free private parking. Great rooms with everything you need. Aircondition was very nice, and Roxanne was very nice. Wish we stayed for more than one night.
