I have been to over 90 countries and have stayed in countless hotels of all kinds. The Mondi Lodge is amongst the most memorable, special places I have ever had the pleasure to stay in, and I can't recommend it highly enough in every way. The people who own and run it are fantastic, the grounds are full of beautiful plants and animals, it has a cool pool area with a kitchen and a trust fridge full of drinks, you can drink the tap water, the breakfast is really tasty, with a different special every morning, its close to town, but beautifully quiet so you can hear birdsong not diesel engines, and all the rooms are wee separate houses, so no noise from other guests either. I chose the tree house room...the clue is in the name....and yes, its a 2 storey wooden house built round a banyan tree, with an outdoor shower, really comfortable big bed, and just the coolest terrace upstairs, with a fridge and kitchen area, where I actually spent so much time swinging in a hammock, I could hardly be bothered going out to see any of Curaçao's beaches. It is really, really special.

Set in Santa Cruz, Arco Iris Casa de Campo offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool. Very cute apartment complex. Simple, but does the job. Nice pool and lounges. Two bed/two bathroom/upstairs downstairs layout. Owners present doing work on the grounds so it is very safe. The two AC units cooled the entire house, not just the bedrooms. Upstairs has a nice balcony and view. There is a very nice bar/restaurant URATAKA about 2 mins drive away. Good food, even better fri/sat night life.

Situated in Willemstad, 17 km from Queen Emma Bridge and 20 km from Curacao Sea Aquarium, Sunflower-Lodge offers air conditioning. We had a really pleasant stay at Sunflower Lodge. I was there with my partner and our 2-year-old son, and it was a perfect fit for a small family. The place was clean, cozy, and peaceful—ideal for relaxing. The host was welcoming and always available if we needed anything. We also appreciated the convenient location, close to everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for couples or families looking for a comfortable stay in Curaçao!

If you are reading this comment and you are planning to visit Aruba, than this is really and amazing place, Ana is great host and her property is just perfect, or at least it was for me and my wife. It is 10 minutes drive away from the main beaches in Aruba, so if you’re planning to rent a vehicle rest assured that this is a wonderful place for your stay since it is very peaceful and clean.

Set 14 km from Christoffel National Park, Kas Amigu accomodations offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. I worked remote from Kas Amigu for 3 weeks, and it was heavenly! First of all, the property is a lovely slice of paradise. Rooms are immaculately clean and modern. I stayed in the Plumeria studio. The kitchenette was perfect for me to cook small meals during the week when I was working, and extremely well equipped. As someone who has seen a wide variety of hotel and villa bathrooms on different islands, I greatly appreciated that plumbing in the bathroom was modern, and the materials in the bathroom were the kind where you can tell they are easily cleaned and can see how clean the bathroom is. Also greatly appreciated were the screens in all of the windows, so it was possible to have the windows open in the evening without fear of mosquitos without running the AC. The AC worked incredibly well when I did decide to use it. The patio just outside the room was a delightful place to set up my laptop every day to work. I was also able to work from their lovely pool area. The wifi was very reliable for all my Zoom calls for work in my room and in the pool area. The pool area is gorgeous both in the sun, and magically lit up at night. It’s very relaxing. There are rarely ever more than 2 people there at a time, so you’re not fighting for lounging space like you would at some other properties. They also have the most charming pavilions to help shade you from the sun if you desire. Daily, the most beautiful birds hang around the property singing and flying around. The landscaping is also beautiful and incredibly well done. Peter and Ann were incredible hosts and made me feel at home throughout my entire stay. They were incredibly flexible with requests, and very thoughtful. They are very responsive, and helped me book several amazing experiences around the island, and had impeccable beach and restaurant recommendations. I really hope to come back next year.

Situated in Kralendijk in the Bonaire region, with Chachacha Beach nearby, Tala Lodge Bonaire features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Monique and her husband treated us like family. They bought some groceries for my daughter to make her feel welcome.

Set within 700 metres of Mangel Halto Beach and 7.9 km of Hooiberg Mountain, Casa Chiquito offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Savaneta. The hosts Marc and Vi are very friendly and helpful. Everything was organized and clean. We felt at home.
